The mission of the Mountainlands Community Health Center is to provide high quality, affordable medical, dental and mental health services for individuals who would otherwise have inadequate access to primary health care. Services are provided with special consideration for factors such as low income, lack of insurance, minority and ethnic background, language, and other social barriers. Services are provided with concern to the individual’s ability to access services between and among diverse providers along the continuity of care spectrum. Ancillary and support services are provided to help facilitate the individual’s effective utilization of resources with respect to their dignity and beliefs. MCHC utilizes a community oriented primary care model and is concerned not just about the care provided to the individual client, but also about the overall health status of its patients and the community it serves.
Family Physician or Internist
MCHC is looking for a friendly Family Physician and/or Internist to help us serve our community’s needs. This position requires a full-spectrum of care, including prenatal and low-risk OB. Spanish-speaking language skills are ideal.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/Certificate/Registration: Board Certified Family Practice Physician or Board Certified Internist, licensed to practice in Utah.
Experience Required:
Provide care and medical case management to urban undeserved patients. Philosophy and practiced methods of managed care. Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team; possesses team building, problem solving and analytical skills. Strong community and public health orientation
