MCHC is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to help us serve our community’s needs. This position requires a full-spectrum of care, including prenatal and low-risk OB. Spanish-speaking language skills are ideal.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/Certificate/Registration: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, licensed to practice in Utah.
Experience Required: Provide personal, accessible medical care and medical case management to urban undeserved patients. Philosophy and practiced methods of managed care. Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team; possesses team building, problem solving and analytical skills. Strong community and public health orientation
Other Requirements: Have (or obtain) and continue to maintain aD.E.A. license for controlled substances within 2 months of employment. Obtain and maintain any other licensing or provider panel participation necessary to provide quality patient care. (UPIN, Medicaid, Medicare, managed care plans, etc.)
